AT this time when they could have realised their dream of creating PASHTOONISTAN (PUKHTUNISTAN) by pushing the frontier towards Attock, their heads are down under the Allies' bombardment.
We know that the Afghans never accepted the frontier at DURRAND LINE (across Khyber) that was pushed up by a one-off Sikh victory under MAHARAJA RANJIT SINGH.
The Afghans have always maintained that Durrand line is a false imposition on them by the British Colonial Power in the 19th century.
Now Pakistan is very UNSTABLE AND CRUMBLING and the opportunity to undo the wrong is slipping away while they are busy gathering the refugees returning from Iran and Pakistan.
Such are the tricks of history in which EAST Bengal with Dhaka as its capital is sovereign and INDEPENDENT, while Sindh with Karachi as its capital is in big turmoil and does not have even the autonomy of SOUTH Kashmir and EAST Punjab!
WAKE UP PASHTOONS. See the opportunity that will soon go away for ever. Those Afghan refugees can STAY PUT where they are, and help INTEGRATE the territory either into AFGHANISTAN or develop it as a new sovereign republic on earth.
Your DIGNITY need not be any less than the dignity of the impoverished starving EAST BENGALIS now enjoying full sovereignty as well as the membership of the UNITED NATIONS.
