UNO SHOULD SEND TEAM TO SWAT (PAKISTAN)

United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) should immediately rush a fact-finding team to Swat (Pakistan) for on-the-spot study of media-reports about Taliban regime in that part of Pakistan where merciless flogging was carried out on a teen-aged girl. It is time that world’s only hyper-power America may stop all financial aid to Pakistan till it practically gets rid of any alliance with Taliban regime in Swat. Isolation of Pakistan for ensuring democratic rule of justice can only compel Pakistan rulers to take corrective measures for effectively checking militancy and terror not only in their own country but also in other parts of the world.

It may be recalled that infamous 9/11 attack on US World Trade Tower could be possible only because US avoided taking any concrete action on IC-814 hijack at Kandhar. Likewise, not taking 26/11 terror-attack on Mumbai in seriousness as the unpleasant episode deserves, US may indirectly invite even severe attack on itself in time to come.
