MUSLIMS IN THE U.K. INSULT THE MEMORY OF BRITISH NATIONAL HEROES. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\ The poppy is the symbol of the war dead and Britain honors her warriors as well as her dead. Those living in the UK know how proudly the people of these Isles wear a poppy and donate liberally to the British Legion for the welfare and well-being of the services families. \\\\\\\\\\\\ But now we have a vicious ISLAMIC minority who are bent upon provoking the British by insulting the memory of their war dead. Please read the protest letter in a local newspaper in England. \\\\\\\\\\\ ================ \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Burning of poppies is outrage 19 November, 09.26AM\\\\\\\\\\\\\ When Pastor Terry Jones had threatened to burn the Muslim holy book on the anniversary of the Sept 11, there was a public outcry and the media went crazy! \\\\\\\\\\\\ For it is not the religion that we are fighting against, it is the extremists that terrorise and put the fear into millions and caused thousands of deaths. \\\\\\\\\\\ We then are faced with the burning of poppies by these Muslim extremists and what happens? *Tumbleweed* \\\\\\\\\\\ This is a hate crime and should be dealt with in court before it turns into something bigger. \\\\\\\\\\ I have my two sons serving in the RHA, both have done tours in Iraq and Afghan, so you can see I am rather passionate about this subject.\\\\\\\\\ If it was the other way round, we would be taken to court and dragged over the coals for even verbally making our thoughts know!.. It makes my blood boil. \\\\\\\\\\\ One moment the Government is shouting about keeping our country free and without living in fear of terrorism and then it lets this happen on our own doorstep! \\\\\\\\\\\\\ It is a disgrace and an huge insult to our servicemen/women who lost their lives. \\\\\\\\\\\ They did this so politicians and the British people could live our lives in peace. \\\\\\\\\\\ The extremists have decided to live in a country where they can live in peace too. \\\\\\\\\\\ If they don't like it, they can be deported back to where they can't even air their views without facing the death penalty!\\\\\\\\\\ They chose to live in this country, a country that gives them the freedom to do things they could not do in their own country. They are attacking the very people who made that dream come reality. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\ We need to make a stand, not roll over and 'forget' the crimes of these people. \\\\\\\\\\\ Don't let it be yesterday's news. \\\\\\\\\\\\ It is a current affair that needs to be addressed before things get completely out of hand and this country will end up in a revolution.\\\\\\\\\ Dawn Turner\\\\\\\ Via e-mail \\\\\\ =============== 000000000
