You are spot on. Indeed, quantity above quality was the yardstick by which Sindh, West Punjab and East Bengal went. Times had changed.
Times changed when it suited the colonial masters. Times changed when the colonial masters needed to destroy India.
Until the end of WORLD WAR 2, every invader and intruder used WEAPONS to conquer and colonise and change frontiers. It was the gun or the sword that mattered.
In 1947 as the foreign rulers were leaving for good, they thought of the only way to subvert- by NUMBERS. The natives were made to submit to the new yardstick.
They said (words to the effect): "On the basis of head count we send these provinces to MOHAMMED and those to SECULARISM. Accept this or get shot!"
It is a fact that while Nehru, too westernised, flamboyant and aristocrat, was not expected to mention the word HINDU, all eyes were on MK Gandhi but the self-negating barrister-at-law FAILED to grasp the strategic nature of the concealed attack. Thus the HINDUS suffered the worst DEFEAT twice over in- (1) losing one third of Bharat (the Best of India") to ISLAM and (2) having Secularism IMPOSED on the "Rest of India".
Cunning Nehru, friend of Mohammed, was quick to write up a Constitution to FIX this non status of the Hindus. The Constituent Assembly was no different from today's sheepish PM and his cabinet although SIX DECADES have passed, time enough for everyone to see through the "crushing hammer" made only for the Hindus. As a result of denial by State in Hindusthan the Hindus seemed "eunuchs" but the Muslims manly.
What a SHAME to hear the enemy tell us repeatedly, "Hindus are like the cows who need the Muslim bulls. That is why Nehru and Gandhi, both cows, did not insist on throwing out the Muslims - lock, stock and Koran, when Akhand Bharat was broken up."
What has our Hindu nation done since 1947 to DISPROVE this? We look even more ridiculous (stupid) today with the Kashmiri Hindus living in refugee camps, the Sikhs having to re-build their Golden Temple in Amritsar at their own expense, and the Sindhi Hindus begging to be let in?
By conceding TRUE IDENTITY to the Hindus in 1947 Bharat would have looked very different today. None could have opposed the Hindus on the question of constructing the historic Temple in Ayodhya. There would have been NO Article 370 to benefit the only Muslim majority State and there would have been NO dynastic transfer of the Prime Minister's office from father to daughter and then from daugher to son and now to the uncertain future.
With the Muslims STAYING BACK and the word "PARTITION" deleted from the Constitution the result is the same precarious situation for the HIndus, and Bharat, that we saw in 1947.
In "HINDU RASHTRA" the status of MUSLIMS would have been very similar to the status of HINDUS in the Constitutions of (ISLAMIC RASHTRAS of) Pakistan and Bangladesh TODAY.
There is no democracy in Nehru's Bharat. It is a serious reflection on the Hindus who alone have real stake in Bharat's TERRITORY, and in the land of our origin.
An NRI narrated with SHAME that in a genuine democracy we never saw the top office going down to the son or daughter. For example Churchill, Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair were NOT replaced by their offspring nor were George Bush and Bill Clinton! These are first class democracies. There is NO reason whatsoever for Bharat to go on suffering her THIRD CLASS democracy under the FOURTH generation of ONE Dynasty.
Politically, India is a third class country though she may be FIRST class in divinity! This is the state of affairs that needs to be brought out in public debate.
You are quite right. POWER now lies with the rural masses though city dwellers can set the trend and show the example. Villagers must KNOW that with continuing Congress rule neither the temples are safe (we see the neglect in Ayodhya and the malicious attack by Maimoona Begum on Golden Temple in Amritsar in 1984) nor our daughters and homes. A whole civilization is being subverted by State and "Bollywood".
Each patriot needs to have the addresses (preferably e-mail addresses) of the members of Lok Sabha in order to write to each one of them. Each MP is worth 100,000 heads (his constituents!) and we should expect them to reach the rural masses as you suggest.

V K.Singh even as I strongly feel that if general VK Singh had political fore-sight, he instead of supporting Baba Ramdev & like , he should have Taken Control of BJP who wd have welcomed him , specially all its workers , then all its corrupt leaders . with all its weaknesses , BJP is BEST amongst the worst lot & moreover it is the only HINDU Party which can further be strengthened by Selfless & capable, intelligent patriots like you & me &many more of our kind .
2. Not more than 10% of the existing CLEAN MLA's, M.P.s & local Netas be given Tickets , these 10% is also reqd only because they know all the tricks of the Trade , else if choice given to me , I will throw them en masse .
3. Clean only Candidates be given tickets , preferably young blood & of proven abilities & WELL- EDUCATED & WELL-INFORMED . NO TICKETS BE GIVEN TO ANY CORRUPT OR DIRTY POLITICIAN HOW SO EVER SEEMINGLY BETTER CHANCE SUCH A PERSON MAY HAVE TO WIN ELECTION. IT IS BETTER TO LOSE THAN TO HAVE SAME SORT OF CORRUPT & CHARACTERLESS PERSONS AGAIN, ELSE WHAT FOR WE ARE LOOKING FOR CHANGE . WE HAVE ALSO TO ENSURE THAT OUR SELECTED CANDIDATES DO NOT ACQUIRE THE SAME BLOODY DIRTY HABITS OF INDULGING IN ANY FLESH TRADE/ GIRLS , UNDERHAND BRIBES / MONEY AND OR ANY KIND OF ANY CORRUPT PRACTICES. LET ME DRAW YR KIND ATTENTION TO CERTAIN FACTS WHEN IN U.P. FIRST BJP GOVT. My other comments may follow again as I am boubling with thoughts but am equally worried on account of the old hoggs of BJP, some of them equally corrupt & dirty as Congress is including our Mumbai BJP or Delhi BJP , Vijay goel of DELHI BJP IS ONE SUCH PERSON < SIMILARLY IN MUMBAI < all BJP leaders are equally corrupt including the big names , almost all of them wanting girls & money and a few of them are murderers also . Given such brainwashed “sweepers of Gandhian Court”, Mr Modi’s bid to be the next prime minister will be arduous one. He needs everybody’s support at this juncture when Hindusthan is on the edge of precipice.
The next elections in 2014 are going to be no routine affair to bring back Sonia or Rahul on top again. The result will be the difference between awareness and ignorance, honour and dishonour, and life and death, for the Hindus in Congress controlled “Coolie Colony” called Bharat. Thanks to fake (“sarkari”) “lions” like Gandhi & Nehru it is no more “Akhand Bharat”.
