OLD DELHI AND NEW DELHI:
Our capital doesn’t look like a capital at all! There is no pride in showing off an identity whether in culture or dress. The most remarkable stamp of slavery is that people around who are not from the labour and working class from all states , speak only in English seem to be ‘toungueless ‘. In Malaysia all speak in Malay , Chinese or Tamil . Very little English otherwise. Delhi has grown into a derelict of concrete edge to edge buildings , dilapidated roads ,total traffic chaos no aesthetic structures . All we have are only Moghul gifts. There is no Hindu contribution as such ! Only one that of salt march statue of Gandhi leading his emaciated flock!
This became a refugee city and has remained so ! What can you expect from people who flock in hundreds even to today to pay tribute to Indira Gandhi at her house, children in organized visits by schools , old and feeble men and women traveling all the way from far off places as if she be a messiah! What idol worshipping instincts drive the Hindu! ALL WASTE
