LETTER FROM TASADDAQ HUSSEIN IN MULTAN

Date: 19/04/2013

Tasaddaq Hussein, my old class fellow from DAV High School Multan wrote, “Our former President Pervez Musharraf is in custody and under trial. Our Pakistan is emerging into genuine democracy at last. What about you?”

“What do you mean?”

“We separated in 1947 because our leaders knew that the Hindus hate their religion and freedom. Voluntarily crushing their HINDU identity they boast of being Secular. And hating their own kind they have put an Italian born female on top of their political pyramid. The worst of all they do not like democracy. So they have gone under one dynasty, generation after generation.
“You also look ridiculous to us for trusting a Catholic “Bhai” with the Defence of Hindusthan and an Italian as President of the RULING “All India Congress Party”!

Incidentally, our Qaid-i-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah, too, was in the same chair at one time and the Hindus didn’t mind! And what did we do to the prime ministers who had the idea of founding a dynasty? We HANGED or SHOT them like Zulfiqar Ali and his daughter Benazir Bhutto?”
I replied, “I shall reply later!”
----------------------------------
Dear readers, I can see the advantage of being secular. Then we do not have to get shot trying to raise the Hindu temple at Ayodhya. But exterminating a Party or Dynasty by shooting or hanging seems controversial. So, please write your views on the points raised by my old friend in Multan that I could send to him. Tasaddaq Hussein still recalls our hasty departure when Bapu Gandhi’s “Akhand Bharat” died suddenly.
