This 3- minute video tells us about a CAG report that focuses on the plight of our Jawans on the front line, in Siachen and in Ladakh.
The Indian Army, despite the stewardship of our dynamic Prime Minister, has not provided the basic things, the report says, like boots, goggles, winter clothes to our brave jawans battling out with the enemy to protect our motherland.
What is worse, the CAG report says, the items provided are substandard. The implication is clear: the Administration is making money at the expense of our suffering soldiers.
The CAG report makes another shocking revelation: our jawans, braving the twin assault of cold and altitude, are getting food that caters to just about 20 to 30 percent of their calorie needs! What is the explanation of the government? The food required in the mountainous region is expensive, and the country cannot afford it!
Our front line soldiers are thus the victims of corruption, venality and callousness of the Army bosses and their political masters. Are the hearts of Desh Bhakts bleeding? Will they demand prompt corrective action? Or, will they accuse the CAG of submitting a fake report and condemn our soldiers to their continued existence in wretched conditions?
