THE MOST HONORABLE SIKH COMMUNITY, CONGRATULATIONS
A personal tribute.
Last night I tuned in to “AKAAL” television Channel (England) and could not believe my eyes for what I saw. There I saw the magnificent Gurdwara which I presume was Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib in Delhi, in (“Broken”) Bharat.
“Kirtan” was fascinating. The gurdwara was full. “It must be some special occasion,” I thought, but soon I saw the large posters with photos on the back wall.
They all had been killed in November 1984. On top in big writing was the occasion, REMEMBERANCE DAY in the sacred memory of the THOUSANDS of innocent Sikhs, boys and girls, men and women, massacred in the capital of the “Partitioned Indian Secular State”, also known as “Bharat”, that was formerly India or AKHAND BHARAT.
I had never seen a function of this kind before even to honour the memory of the TWO MILLION Hindus and Sikhs murdered in cold blood at PARTITION in 1947.
Since as a teenager I had fled West Punjab to escape unprecedented violence and bloodshed when our TOP leaders, Messrs. MK Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, both Barristers-at-Law from London, collapsed and agreed to the unconditional surrender of the country, dumping their Secularism in an instant in order to appease the Indian Muslims who established their Islamic Pakistan, that would soon claim Kashmir, there were massacres, abductions and looting all over Pakistan that wiped out the Hindus and Sikhs. We saw our relatives, friends and kith and kin all perish along with nearly two million more massacred in Pakistan in 1947.
What was even more unfortunate, despicable and dishonorable was the fact that Mr Nehru and his Government refused to apologise to the nation’s gallant armed forces for ordering them to run away from their cantonments to save their lives when, in fact, there were enough troops on hand to massacre every Pakistani, and chase any survivor to Mecca!
NO memorial to honour the memory of the two million Hindus and Sikhs who paid the price of that surrender with their lives, has been built anywhere in Bharat.
There is still “hush hush” about the bloodshed during Partition, but NO memorial has been erected to honour the memory of the TWO MILLION dead.
So I got really charged with emotions seeing the brave Sikhs commemorating the victims of the Sikh genocide of 1984 for which none was hanged to death, though Shri Nathu Ram Godse and Beant Singh and Satwant Singh were promptly hanged to death. Not even life imprisonment was considered.
I kept listening to the soothing holy “kirtan” and the speeches. One speaker demanded an apology from the Government of India for failing to provide protection to their citizens. Why is that APOLOGY not forthcoming, is disappointment to most honorable and brave Sikhs.
I was even more impressed and happy to listen to the prominent Sikh leaders who paid homage (“shardhanjli”) to the victims, and whose organisations are still paying “pension” to the widows while the Government of India has not paid a paisa!.
While congratulating the honorable Sikh organisations for caring for the widows and orphans, one fails to understand as to why the Government of India is not paying money to the widows and orphans of Sikh genocide in 1984!
This evening, this television broadcast by Akaal Channel raised my awareness of the despicable deeds of Nehru Dynasty and their Congress Party who looked the other way like a bunch of criminals and cowards when the innocent Sikhs were being murdered in streets, shopping centres, on roads, and even inside their homes where the proudest and the most decent girls on earth, each a Princess (“Kaur”) of our Tenth Master, were degraded by the lowest of the lowest scum with full approval of Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi who met his own end in violence like the death of Lord Louis Mountbatten, the former Viceroy who did not mind Sri Nankana Sahib going to (Islamic) Pakistan. He met with horrible death in the Irish Seas, proving there is justice in Nature if not on earth.
In the end, we all salute the proud and honorable Sikh Organisations who COMMEMORATE every year the victims of the malicious State instigated massacres of the brave and honorable Sikh community in November 1984.
The prime minister of the time, who compared the Sikh victims to the “leaves of a fallen tree” met with his own end on May 21, 1991, while the brave Sikhs are waiting for an apology from the government of Bharat that FAILED to protect the innocent Sikhs who once had a powerful Kingdom of their own, right up to Khyber Pass with capital at LAHORE.
