INDIAN ARMY WITH THEIR HANDS TIED BEHIND BACK CANNOT RETALIATE.

Date: 09/08/2013

On Monday night, the country witnessed one more cowardly attack by Pakistani Army at the LoC, killing 5 of our jawans. This is the latest ceasefire violation, ninth in past 16 days, from Pakistani’s side. But UPA is unperturbed by these attacks on Indian soldiers, it seems. That is why it has conveyed to Pakistan that India is willing to hold talks unconditionally, without a 26/11 rider. Talks were suspended after the brutal beheading of soldiers along the Line of Control in January.

Understanding the outrage over the issue, the UPA has suspended talks and is now on its way to resume talks again. It is explicit that corrupt UPA doesn’t care for anyone — be it our honourable soldiers or the aam admi.

166 people were brutally killed by Pakistani terrorists in Mumbai, and Pakistan is yet to do anything to punish the perpetrators. But it seems human life is not something UPA values.

Soldiers were beheaded in January this year and since then, several ceasefire violations have been effected by a defiant Pakistan, but our Government, for reasons unknown, sings ‘all is well’.

Each time something like this happens, the Government responds by saying it will take appropriate action.

The country is angry and asking why Pakistan does not receive a befitting reply. Even Parliament witnessed massive uproar over the issue but it’s unlikely that the Government will take any serious action.

Demanding answers from UPA, BJP leader Yashwant Sinha said that the UPA should clarify — is the Congress with Pakistan or India?

Surprisingly, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was not available in the House to discuss such an important issue — something that speaks volumes about the seriousness of the Government.

The Defence Minister’s statement in Parliament virtually exonerates Pakistan. He said the attack was carried out by “terrorists along with persons dressed in Pakistan Army uniform”.

This is not the first time Government has committed such a blunder. Who can forget the Sharm-el-Sheikh episode of 2009, where the Prime Minister effectively admitted to India’s involvement in Balochistan in a joint statement, thereby making sure India would never be able to bring up Pakistani terrorism in Kashmir.

UPA is now on the way towards doing something equally stupid all over again.

Check out some of the statements by the Government after the terror attack by Pakistani’s soldiers.

After the January incident, the Defence Ministry issued a statement denouncing the incident as a “provocative act” and said the Government would take it up with Pakistan.

Even the Supreme Court had issued a notice to the Centre and asked it to raise the issue with International Criminal Court.

But nothing substantial was done by UPA. Rather than registering strong protest, UPA hosted lunch for Pakistan’s President Zardari.

Now see this again parroted response from Government after this coward attack.

“I think it is extremely unfortunate, it is reprehensible. But I would like to appeal to everybody not to play partisan politics with it,” Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari said on Tuesday.

The Point is that UPA has failed completely to protect India’s honour. It has failed not because we are not equipped, but because Government is not serious about the issue. It has no intention of defending our sovereignty and integrity.

Foreign policy is in disarray. China browbeats us every now and then, and even Maldives is seen to be flexing muscle against us. They can do so because they know India is being governed by a weak and timid Government. Nobody knows who actually runs the Government, Sonia Gandhi or the rubber stamp Prime Minister. The whole country is suffering because of their lackadaisical approach.

It’s pitiable that our Defence Minister doesn’t know exactly what he should say after the attack. First he raises apprenshions over Pakistan’s hand in attack and then after facing flak, he suddenly withdraws his statement.

What a shame for the country when soldiers are being killed but the leaders are either missing or giving reckless responses!

Here is how three prominent leaders of the country have responded after the incident.

» The Prime Minister hasn’t spoken even 24 hours after the incident.

» Sonia is done with formalities and has termed the act as a blatant act of deceit.

» Antony had first said that it appears that Pakistan’s hand was there and is now facing fire and has admitted his mistake.

Things will never improve till this Government does not learn how to assert itself and the wants of the nation it seemingly governs. Pakistan will continue to challenge us till UPA doesn’t take tough action.

I appeal to UPA: Rise and reply to Pakistan in the same vein. This is the only solution. Nothing else!

Pakistan has challenged India’s might: Data confirms it
